The hardest step is always the first one! A simple email can get you started in your living history journey.

You will never be alone in this journey! Once you join, we will assign a seasoned Mentor who will help you put together your kit, answer questions, and show you the ropes.

Showing up is the most intimidating part, but we are glad you came! We don’t expect you to know everything, have all your gear, or engage with the public. We have plenty of loaner gear to get you into the field. Absolutely no experience is necessary.

Putting your kit together is what we consider your “dues” for joining. We will help you build a historically accurate impression over time. Piece your kit together at your own pace.

Before you know it, you will be a fully kitted out member of the Legion. You will engage with the public with ease, help set up camp, and help new recruits as a seasoned member!
